The Build-A-Bike® event at Norfolk Southern’s Atlanta headquarters was a unique opportunity for the Hybrid Finance Department to strengthen team bonds and engage in friendly competition. Initially reserved, the team members gradually opened up, embracing the spirit of the event. The activity of assembling bikes provided a platform for collaboration, problem-solving, and engagement outside of their usual finance roles.
The competitiveness that emerged among the team members added an element of fun and excitement to the event. This transformation from a reserved group to an enthusiastic and cohesive team was remarkable, highlighting the power of team-building activities in fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
