Brivo Build-A-Bike® Event in Washington, DC

Brivo, a trailblazer in mobile and cloud-based access control, recently marked the conclusion of its annual offsite leadership meeting with a Build-A-Bike® charity event in Washington, DC. Hosted at Brivo’s facility, the event saw 60 participants, including company leaders, come together to assemble bikes for “For Love of Children,” a local charity. Despite the challenges posed by the venue’s open, glass wall design, which limited setup options and risked distracting participants in adjacent areas, the event maintained a high level of enthusiasm and energy among the participants. The presence of the non-profit’s representatives, who observed the entire event, added a layer of engagement and meaning to the activity. Although Brivo’s CEO was present, their involvement in the bike-building activity was limited.

Brivo stands as the global authority in sophisticated, cloud-based access control and security automation for various sectors, including commercial real estate and large enterprises. With over twenty years of innovation, Brivo’s platform serves as the digital backbone for the world’s most extensive collection of customer facilities, trusted by more than 23 million users worldwide. The company’s dedication to “simply better security” is evident in its comprehensive suite of products, which enhances the safety, experience, and convenience for occupants of the buildings it secures. Brivo is celebrated for its easy installation, reliability, extensive API partner network, and pioneering efforts in cybersecurity and privacy within the industry.

Brivo’s Leadership Team Unites for Build-A-Bike® Event in Washington, DC

The Build-A-Bike® event at Brivo served as an energetic and philanthropic finale to the company’s annual leadership meeting. The choice of venue, despite its aesthetic appeal, presented unique challenges due to its open and transparent design. Nevertheless, the commitment and enthusiasm of the leadership team turned these potential distractions into an opportunity for focused team-building and community service.

This charity event not only provided an opportunity for Brivo’s leaders to engage in a hands-on team-building activity but also highlighted the company’s commitment to giving back to the community. Donating the assembled bikes to “For Love of Children” exemplifies Brivo’s dedication to improving the lives of those in the communities where their employees live and work.

While the CEO’s inability to participate in the bike-building underscored the demands on executive time, their presence was a significant gesture, underscoring the importance of the event and the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility.

We extend our deepest appreciation to Brivo for their commitment to enhancing community well-being through the Build-A-Bike® event. This initiative perfectly aligns with Brivo’s ethos of using technology not only to secure spaces but also to build safer, more connected communities.
