Ferguson’s Mid-Atlantic Division Leaders Unite for Build-A-Bike® Event Near Washington, DC

This Build-A-Bike® event was a milestone for Ferguson, particularly for the Mid-Atlantic Division Leaders. It represented a strategic effort led by VP Kathy Scull to integrate the leaders from the company’s two primary divisions. These divisions, having grown through acquisitions over the years, came together for the first time to enhance inter-divisional collaboration and relationship-building. The event’s activities were designed to encourage leaders to work together in new ways, stepping out of their typical work roles and breaking down the organizational silos that often arise in large, multifaceted companies like Ferguson.

Aligning with Ferguson’s commitment to community engagement, the event also had a significant charitable aspect. The leaders assembled bicycles as part of the team-building exercise, which were then donated to the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Front Royal. This act of charity not only served as a unifying experience for the leaders but also resonated with Ferguson’s values of social responsibility and giving back to the community. The event thus effectively combined leadership development with meaningful community support, reflecting the company’s holistic approach to corporate leadership and social responsibility.

We express our profound gratitude to the Mid-Atlantic Division Leaders of Ferguson for their collaborative spirit and generous donation during the Build-A-Bike® event. Special thanks to Kathy Scull for her vision in fostering unity and community involvement among the leaders.
