Baruch College Build-A-Bike® Event in Armonk, NY

Baruch College conducted its latest Build-A-Bike® team-building event at the Louis V. Gerstner Center of Learning in Armonk, NY. All in all, this annual event brought together 45 graduate students for an energizing and philanthropic exercise. Given the rich diversity and intellectual enthusiasm of the Baruch community, the atmosphere was lively as these future professionals rolled up their sleeves to assemble bicycles for children in need.

Graduate Students from Baruch College Engage in Build-A-Bike® Team-Building at Louis V. Gerstner Center in Armonk, New York

This year’s Build-A-Bike® event marked a continuation of Baruch College’s yearly tradition. Hosted at the Louis V. Gerstner Center of Learning, the venue was buzzing with vibrant, eager-to-learn graduate students. Participants drew from the unique diversity of the Baruch community, bringing together multiple perspectives as they navigated through the bike-assembly process. The enthusiasm was palpable, making it another memorable occasion in the college’s series of events.

Charity and community service were at the heart of this event. Bicycles assembled by the Baruch students were donated to Barabra’s House, contributing positively to the lives of children in need. The sense of giving back to the community enriched the team-building experience for these future professionals. It not only allowed them to hone teamwork skills but also instilled a strong sense of civic responsibility, something that resonates with Baruch’s broader mission.
