Dotmatics employees collaborate for Build-A-Bike® event in Las Vegas, Nevada
The Build-A-Bike® event was a vibrant part of the Dotmatics annual company conference, designed to integrate team-building with charitable giving. Participants, who were primarily engaged in scientific and technical fields, embraced the chance to step away from their usual analytical focus and engage in hands-on, collaborative activities. The setting at the luxurious PARK MGM LAS VEGAS provided an ideal backdrop for creativity and teamwork. All in all, it allowed these scientists to connect on a personal and professional level while assembling bicycles.
During the event, the group was divided into teams, each tasked with assembling bicycles under time constraints. This activity was not only a test of teamwork but also a fun and engaging way for participants to bond and develop new interpersonal dynamics. The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm and a spirit of friendly competition, culminating in the assembly of 12 bicycles.
The completed bicycles were donated to A Greater Hope, a charity dedicated to supporting foster children in Southern Nevada. This donation was particularly meaningful, as it directly benefited children in the local community, adding a layer of social responsibility to the team-building exercise.
