Ropes & Gray’s Summer Associates Gear Up for a Build-A-Bike® Event in Boston, Massachusetts
The Build-A-Bike® event was a highlight of the Summer Diversity Symposium. The symposium consisted of Ropes & Gray’s Summer Associates, a group of first and second-year law students. The event sought to provide a fun, hands-on team building activity. Not only that, it reinforced the firm’s commitment to diversity, community engagement, and social responsibility.
The participants assembled bikes that were donated to Transition House, a local shelter. Representatives from the shelter shared a heartfelt video narrated by one of the children of a resident, providing an emotional connection to the cause and reinforcing the impact of the associates’ efforts. This significantly added to the meaningfulness of the experience for the Summer Associates.
